Shares and share alike
I see the BBC has invented (along with those clever people at FTSE) a new indicater on economies. However, unlike the FTSE 100 or Dow Jones that show how a country's economy is going, the new indicator The BBC Global 30 is intended to show how the global economy is going - taking 30 of the best performers across 10 sectors to give an overall outlook. Just another stat or the stat to end all stats? Who knows.
What's that you say - you don't care about global economics because all you want to do is RAWK?? Well I have just the thing for you, The Kleptones invite you to... "A Night At The Hip-Hopera" - download it (filesharing like bit torrent or from the website) and enjoy vintage Queen mixed with some great Hip Hop tunes. It's much better than you'd expect and is blasting out of my speakers right now!
Just while we are talking about downloading music, I see that the evil empires are gearing up to take on the UK. I don't download music, possibly because I'm scared the Americans will sue me, but I know people who have. I wonder what their threshold is, gigs of music? hundreds of albums? One album? We'll have to wait and see.
