Muddyfunkster: A Word to the Unwise

Friday night I went out with Andy and a couple of guys he had up from London Town. Sadly, they had a bit of a head start on me and were already falling off their chairs / abusing waitresses when I arrived so I had to get a few pints and the odd shot down me so that I could at least understand them. We started in Native State (remember when that was the Woolpack? ) and then onto The Belfry, where Andy could be warned by the management for standing on the seats and swinging from the light fittings. So I left them there, anyone who doesn’t think I left them there was sorely mistaken, to join another crowd celebrating the immanent departure of our friend – who is off to join the geriatrics as an Engineer on a cruise ship. So that was The Standing Order and Nickel Edwards to close off the night. I don’t actually remember closing off the night, but I’m pretty sure it happened.
