Saturday Round-Up

Saturday I headed over to Fife to start the girlfriend’s birthday celebrations at her family home. Due to the crippling roadworks being carried out on the Forth Road Bridge every weekend I decided to avoid a 2 hour traffic jam and take the train. Fantastic journey as always, going across the old railway bridge. After my favourite dinner of steak, egg and chips (wasn’t even my birthday) we headed out to see Alfie at the local Odeon. It was an enjoyable film, which lost part of it’s origional greatness in bringing it up-to-date. Jude Law made a great Alfie, mainly because it was a copy of Caine’s original acting; can’t complain though as it was done well! Fog made the journey home interesting, 70 mph on the motorway when you can’t see the hand in front of your face (if you’d been out of the car of course).
